About Nunlai Research & Consulting
Nunlai Research and Consulting, LLC is a Liberian woman-owned research and consulting firm based in Monrovia, Liberia. Our name, Nunlai (pronounced nun-lie), comes from the Kpelle vernacular meaning "the business of human beings" or "for the sake of humanity". We center African knowledge and experiences as catalysts for problem-solving, designing effective programs and communication strategies. By engaging local actors and amplifying community perspectives, we craft sustainable solutions, influence policies, reduce inequities, and foster gender sensitivity and inclusivity across all areas of development practice.
Nunlai Research & Consulting specializes in strategic research and contextual analysis using innovative and participatory data collection and analysis. We focus our efforts on adaptive management as a strategy for organizational learning and professional development. About CelebrateLAB
CelebrateLAB West Africa is a Liberian women-owned registered not-for-profit organization that is a regional forum connecting research and laboratory stakeholders in laboratory science, product creation, and innovation in W. Africa. In its 10th year, CelebrateLAB® continues to be the forum that brings together life sciences experts from W. Africa and beyond to share knowledge and build the networks necessary to link diverse groups of stakeholders, including clinical and research professionals, regulators, academics, manufacturing, and product development professionals.
Building the CelebrateLAB ecosystem over a period of 10 years has required a focus on creating triangular relationships. These triangular relationships over time have proven to provide the opportunity for knowledge exchange, partnerships, and growth over the West Africa region. Representation of regulators, laboratory science professionals, research professionals from both the public and private sector in West Africa has seen significant growth at over 30% in ten years. CelebrateLAB® West Africa has stakeholders represented from ECOWAS countries as well as the United States, United Kingdom, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
The existing platform aligns with global health initiatives focused on enabling an environment of surveillance and knowledge-sharing in Africa. CelebrateLab has worked with diverse partners including Infectious Disease Institute (IDI) – Makerere University, Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, Research World Limited, Shufflex Biomed, UNC Global Projects Liberia, West Africa Consortium for Clinical Research (WAC-CREP), College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, National Public Health Institute Liberia, Joint Medical Unit (34 Military Hospital) Research Unit, Kintampo Health Research Centre, and Partnership for Research on Vaccines and Infectious Diseases in Liberia (PREVAIL) to promote partnerships and translational research through CelebrateLab's research and innovation showcase. This showcase is an opportunity for research institutions to provide a pitch of diseases of interest to Africa, research capacity and expertise, research strategies and opportunities to partner, funding and more.
